The Competitive Intelligence Manager will play a key role in analyzing competitors and using that knowledge to improve our products. Your work will directly influence product development, market strategy, and customer support, ensuring Simployer remains a leader and our products stand out in a crowded market.

The location of this role can be: Stockholm, Oslo, or Sarpsborg and you will report to the Head of Product Marketing

The role and responsibilities:

– Identify and monitor current and potential competitors in the market.
– Analyze competitors’ products, pricing, marketing strategies, and market approaches to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
– Track industry trends, technological advancements, and market changes that could impact our business.
– Collect and analyze feedback from customers and prospects to understand their needs and how they perceive competitors.
– Monitor competitors’ strategic partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions that could affect our competitive position.
– Use analytical tools to extract actionable insights from the data.
– Present findings clearly through reports, presentations, or dashboards to support informed decision-making.
– Act as the primary contact for competitive intelligence, ensuring insights are shared across departments.
– Create competitive battlecards, sales playbooks, and training materials to equip the sales team with effective strategies.
– Collaborate with customers and sales teams to gather on-the-ground competitive insights and incorporate them into broader market analysis.
– Manage the win/loss program and regularly report on competitive and win/loss insights to internal stakeholders.
– Create and maintain both internal and external resources for competitive intelligence.
